Third International Symposium on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainable Development

Location: Ryerson University, Toronto   Date: 7th – 11th June 2015
Information: http://www.cr-sd.org/#!symposium/cjg9
Theme: Exploring the nexus of responsibility for sustainable development

Call for Papers
The theme of this symposium is to explore the ways in which responsibility for socio-economic development is shaped by the differing interests of business, government, and multilateral organisations (NGOs, Charities, and bodies). These interests both compete and cooperate, generating a creative tension between public and private interests among others. How do the tensions and overlaps between these constituencies affect sustainable development? We welcome conceptual, empirical (quantitative and qualitative) and case study research that address any aspect of the nexus of responsibility, in any context.
Proposals (abstracts or full papers) should be sent to ccrsd.org@gmail.com and if accepted participants will be invited to register as a presenter in the symposium. Proposals will be reviewed for acceptance as they come, and so early submissions will receive priority. All presentations and papers will be published as symposium proceedings.  Selected papers will be double-blind reviewed, for a special issue of the International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development.
